Five College Movers LLC makes every effort to avoid damage to your personal property. In the unlikely event of an accident Five College Movers offers a wide range of insurance options to our clients. Standard moving insurance is INCLUDED FREE with every move. Additional insurance options are available and along with standard insurance, are described bellow.
Option 1 - Basic Insurance (FREE)
This coverage is FREE and is the default coverage applied to every move unless the client indicates they wish to purchase Option 2, Full Value Replacement. Under Option 1, Basic Insurance Five College Movers LLC has a maximum liability under State Law for loss or damage to your property of $0.60 per pound, per article up to a maximum of $2,000. There is no additional cost for this option.
Option 2 - Full Value Replacement (Cost)
With this plan, any individual goods lost, damaged or destroyed during the move will either be repaired, replaced, or a cash settlement will be made at Five College Movers discretion. The owner of the goods places a value (minimum $10,000) on the shipment and is entitled to up to that declaration of value. Any individual item with a value of over $500 must be listed on the High Value Inventory Form. Only individual items must be listed. Sets, collections, etc are recognized as individual items, not as a group.
Cost- $50/$1,000 in valuation (Example: $10,000 in coverage, would cost $500)
