February 2012 – Month in Review
Five College Movers completed nearly 20 moves in February. Some highlights:
Amherst – Simsbury, CT: Pat, Matt and Jarrett moved a large home to Simsbury early in the month. The move required two trucks. The day was unseasonably warm, with temperatures hitting nearly 55 degrees as the crew unloaded in Simsbury.
Holyoke – Chicopee: TJ and Ryan G. made quick work of a move for a client moving locally. The client was so pleased that she left us a great voicemail later that evening. Click here to listen to the voicemail! Thanks, Terri!
Palmer – Belchertown: Matt and Sean helped out a client who found us on Angie’s List during our “Big Deal” promotion. Specifically, we helped moved the client’s daughter’s belongings from a storage unit in Palmer to her new place in Belchertown. A few days after the move, the client left us an rave review on Angie’s List, which can be seen here.
Northampton – Tarrytown, NY: Matt and Pat R. were the ‘”road warriors” of the month, taking on February’s longest distance move. Everything went smoothly and we again avoided traffic on 91 and 95! After the move, the client emailed us: [pullquote cite=””]“Everything was great. Matt and Pat were very helpful and efficient. – Robin W. (Northampton – Tarrytown, NY)”[/pullquote]
Conway – Whatley: TJ and Ryan provided some last minute help for a client moving locally. After two trips, a 16-foot truck, and seven hours, we got a terrific response from the client: [pullquote cite=””]J and Ryan were great. They were very efficient, helpful and friendly and everything went smoothly. Thanks so much for all your help on such short notice! – Laura F. (Conway – Whatley, MA) [/pullquote]
Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce: In the middle of February, FCM became the ONLY independent movers among the members of the Northampton Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to being an active member of the Chamber and continuing to serve clients in the Northampton area.
Angie’s List: FCM was featured as the “Big Deal” on Angie’s List for two weeks. So far, we have moved three clients who took advantage of the deal. We have received one review so far–an A rating!–and look forward to the other two.
Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity: FCM has donated $500 of moving services to the silent auction at the Feast for Habitat Event benefiting the Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity. The event takes place on May 4th. For more information please visit: http://www.pvhabitat.org/node/61
Groupon feature: FCM will be featured on Groupon again shortly. Check the Groupon Springfield page for an FCM deal!
