are the FIRST AND ONLY fully insured moving labor provider in MA
and CT. Bellow are descriptions of the policy's we are covered by.
General Commercial Liability Insurance - $1 Million
Excess Liability Umbrella Policy - $1 Million
and
Employer Liability - $1 Million
This coverage broadens the scope of what's insured under our General
Commercial liability and also increases the amount of coverage to $1 million
per occurrence.
Workers Comp. - Required by law, however we are the ONLY moving labor
provider who actually has this coverage. This is important because it protects
our customers liability when we are on their property, our liability as
employers and it covers all medical expenses and lost wages if one of our
employees is injured on the job. What some of our competitors do is:
a. Claim their employees as "independent contractors", however, when you
look at the workers compensation laws in Massachusetts, this practice is
illegal.
b. Claim that employees health insurance covers workers comp, which is not
true.
c. Claim to be self insured, which is illegal for companies with less than 300
employees.
